Thermal waters and cures

The Caldane baths (20min. by coach)
Unsual. On the banks of the Fiumiccicoli, romans baths (4th century AD). Twelve persons may bathe together. A spinrg of sulphurous water flows at a temperatue of 40°C. The water therapy is recommended in treament of skin disorders an illness of nervous origins.
Oper all year round : entrance 15 FFR.

The Baracci baths (within walking distance of the Roc é Mare - approx 1,5 kms)
The discovery of antique medallions and certain remains prove the presence of a roman Sspa at Baracci. Rheumatic and skin ailments are treated by the sulphurous and salty waters (47°C). There is a large pool for group bathing (20 FFR) and individual cabins.

The Urbalacone baths or Taccana (40 min. by coach)
Thermal springs (37°C) sulphurous waters. In a fully equiped building. The following ailments are treated :
troubles of respiratory passages, ear, nose, throat, larynx and bronchia.
